As a medium, black and white images are in my view, more timeless and will be seen especially as an art form, for longer than its colour counterpart.

Black and white enables one to see such key elements as contrast, texture, shape, form and quality of light whilst removing any colour distractions.

Developing an image in black and white is my preference.
