As well as making flower portraits, I also enjoy trying something a little different and being creative.

I don't always use the whole flower in my shot and will only focus on a small part of the flower; perhaps only a petal or part of a petal, the stamen, or some other part of the flower. 

I'll often use textures and/or other tools in the editing process. Abstract images of this nature often evoke a sense of mystery and curiosity. 

Hopefully you will see what is in the image and try to piece together the rest in your imagination.
